The Museum is taking part in Devon Open Studios 9-23 September, displaying the porcelain paper clay work created by Taja and his workshop students - all part of the MUSE: Makers in Museums Project.

Saturday 9th September: Heritage Open Day at the Museum

10.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Admission FREE. Refreshments available.

Including FINDS IDENTIFICATION SESSION, 10.30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.

Devon Artist Network Open Studios

New and exclusive artist installation by Taja, of work in porcelain inspired by the museum's collections, part of the Muse: Makers in Museums project.

Open 9th - 23rd September during normal museum hours (Monday - Saturday 10.30 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Free entry on Saturday 9th September for Heritage Open Days: and late opening on Thursday 14th September 6 - 8 p.m. (pay what you like).

Otherwise standard museum entrance fees apply.

MUSEUM OPENING AND CLOSING

The Museum closes for the 2017 season on Saturday 28th October. Group tours, talks and outreach can be arranged in or out of season, please contact the Museum on 01548 853235 or wcookworthy@kingsbridgemuseum.org.uk if you are interested. The Local Heritage Resource Centre is open all year, other than a short break at Christmas.
