Alzheimer's Society - CUPCAKE DAY

Thursday June 15th, 11.30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

In the Museum garden

Our tenants at Start Point Law are hosting this event for the Alzheimer's Society, together with Citizens Advice Devon and the Museum. There will be cupcakes of all varieties, hot drinks and a raffle in the Museum garden, so come along and treat yourself to something sweet and sugary in a good cause! Admission to the garden is free, normal charges apply if you would like to look round the Museum.

Discover more about this remarkable Kingsbridge man and his work. Talk starts 6.30 p.m. in the Methodist Church Hall, followed at 7.30 p.m. by a reception at the Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum and viewing of the Cookworthy porcelain on loan from the Plymouth History Centre. £4 per person at the door, includes admission to the Museum (donation for refreshments).

Saturday 9th September: Heritage Open Day at the Museum
Thursday 26th October: Autumn Family Day

The Museum re-opens for the 2017 season on Monday 27th March, and closes again on Saturday 28th October. Group tours, talks and outreach can be arranged in or out of season, please contact the Museum on 01548 853235 or if you are interested. The Local Heritage Resource Centre is open all year, other than a short break at Christmas.
